Setup & Installation Guide

How to Connect the CLS-60 Yoke to a Flight Sim Software via FFBTools Software

Please note: The default FFBTools V2 pitch and roll forces and effects have been calibrated specifically for the Cessna 172 aircraft.

Pitch & Roll calibration in Windows Game Controller is required.

Then calibrate Pitch & Roll inside X-Plane 11/12, MS2020 & Prepar3d.

Finally, assign both Elevator & Aileron axes!

NOTE: Latest FFB Tools Version is V2.2.1b (as of 29 May 2024)

1 Black Button (Push-To-Talk)
2 Red Button (Autopilot Disconnect)
3 Elevator Trim (Push for Nose Down, Pull for Nose Up) - REQUIRED  for Force Feedback Pitch Trim!
4 Black Button (Spare Button)
5 8-Way Hat Switch (Change 3-D Views)

Step #1A - Watch This Setup Guide

Step #1B - Confirm Cable Connections

1 May 2024 UPDATE: You now only require ONE USB-C connection from the USB port of the CLS-60 yoke to the computer. The USB-C connection from UART is NOT required!

Check your cable connection setup:
UART Port: NOT REQUIRED
USB Port: Connected to the USB-C port of your computer
STOP Port: Connected to the Emergency Stop
PWR Port: Connected to the Power Supply

Step #2 - Install FFBTools Software (Windows Only)
FFBTools V2.2.1b - This is the main software that powers the FFB yoke

XPlaneConnect - This is only required if you are running X-Plane

Step #3 - FFBTools Compatibility Settings
(MUST WATCH & ADJUST!!)
Step #4 - Add FFBTools to Desktop for Easy Access
(Optional but Recommended)
