The manufacturer has made several major design and engineering decisions that significantly enhance the long-term performance and upgrade path of the entire motion platform range.
These improvements, while beneficial, have extended the production timeline.
The key changes are as follows:
1. The new D series will use upgraded motors that deliver higher performance, greater precision, and smoother motion.
2. The platform structure has been redesigned to be more compact and stable, improving durability and motion quality.
3. The D series line-up has been expanded into D4, and D6 models, corresponding to 4DOF, and 6DOF systems. These models are now designed with a modular path that supports upgrading from a lower DOF system to a higher one in the future.
4. Production costs for the D4 have increased. However, all existing H4 orders that choose to convert to the new D4 will be supplied at the original H4 price and will receive priority shipping once production begins.
We understand that delays are inconvenient, and we are truly sorry for the extended wait.
The intention behind these upgrades is to ensure that every customer receives a far superior, future-proof system.
